Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! This month’s Paper Adventures Team Blog Hop is a sketch challenge, and our guest designer is the wonderfully talented Gail Ellis of Blue Rose Paper Treasures! Below is the sketch for this month’s hop, and I’m so excited to see everyone’s creations!
When I saw the sweet holly leaves peeking out behind the shapes on the card, I knew I had to use my favourite bundle again. Can you guess what it is? The Peace and Joy bundle, of course! It features bold holly leaves that I just adore!
I stamped the leaves in Seaside Spray Ink, fussy cut and popped them behind a die-cut circle using some retired DSP, on which I stacked the sentiment (cut with some silver glitter cardstock from my stash, layered on Misty Moonight). The sentiment really shines against the backdrop which features the breathtaking Snowflake Splendor designer series paper, as well as a piece of vellum embossed with the new Winter Snow embossing folder.
I had so much fun with this sketch and am really happy with how it turned out!
